FEED THE NEED PROGRAM
Feed The Need Program is designed to supply Individual and Families in Need a Access point for Nutrient Dense meals. This weekend program is the staple of what first started as Chicken For The Homeless.
No matter the situation, no one is turned away. This Program is funded through Donations and our Baby Back Rib Fundraiser. The Produce is sourced from our Farm, Farm 2 Table, Local Farms and the Protein used is sourced locally from Farms in Central Arkansas.
The Feed The Need Program will start raising Livestock in 2025 through it’s Program, The Protein Sourced Initiative that will also not only supply Protein for the Hot Meals, but will also supply Families in Need, a source for all their Protein needs. All of this is Dependent on Donations to keep the Program Operational.
With this Collaboration between The Protein Sourced Initiative, The Feed The Need Program and Farm 2 Table Project, we will be able to Feed Families completely.
HISTORY OF THE FEED THE NEED PROGRAM
The Feed The Need Program started as Chicken For The Homeless in 2019. The Team would go out Prepare Hot Meals on the Weekends to feed the Homeless in Conway, Ar. As we discovered, more families in need would come to ask if we could help. We decided to restructure our Program to help people and families in need. With our Core beliefs of Feeding and Serving without Judgement only made since to help anyone by not turning them away.
As the Pandemic started to set in, we were forced to shut down this feeding Program due to Rules and Regulations. This was a extremely tough time knowing our Program could not be there to help.
Fast forward to June 2024, Chicken For The Homeless was restructured, Renamed and Reborn as The Feed The Need Program. We prepare all Nutrient Dense Meals from scratch as of now, every weekend at the Farm. Highly Nutrient Dense Produce, Meats and Ingredients are prepared every Saturday and Sunday. Everyone is Invited without worrying about being turned away just because they can’t donate.
The Feed The Need Program is designed with One Goal, Take what we cook and Feed Your Family.
